The Beefeaters and the Guards keep a watchful eye over the Royal Treasury where the Royal Jewels are kept. The collection includes St. Edward’s and Queen Victoria’s Crown as well as the State Sword, the Royal Orb and the world’s largest diamond, the -carat Star of Africa which is encased in the Royal Sceptre.
The crown of Queen Elizabeth, the Imperial State Crown was made for her father in and is adorned with diamonds, sapphires, emeralds and rubies.
