The Rules

clock.gif The objective is to talk about the routine of ONE of the four characters (Lisa, Tom, Kate, and Ben).

clock.gif Make 4 or 5 groups. Give the following grid to each group: grid.

clock.gif The players can choose a character right from the start or while playing (they can also change their minds).

clock.gif The players can move forwards or backwards on the board.

clock.gif For each activity, the players must say what time the character does it. If the answer is correct, the players write the time in the corresponding square in the grid. If the answer is not correct, the teacher gives the right answer and the players must memorize it for the next time they land on this square.

Example 1: example1.gif > Tom has dinner at (a) quarter to seven / at six forty-five.

Example 2: example2 > Lisa gets up at twenty past six / at six twenty.

Do not forget the -S in the present simple!

clock.gif When a group has collected all the times, the players must describe their character's daily routine to the teacher and the rest of the class! If the description is correct, the group wins!
